Chris joined the firm in 1998 and is a specialist in
professional regulatory matters. He regularly presents claims
of misconduct and incompetence before professional conduct /
disciplinary committees. He also provides training to these
committees in areas such as judicial review. Prior to
qualification, Chris worked as the acting deputy registrar at the
General Optical Council, the professional body of optometrists and
opticians.
Chris is a member of the Association of
Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers. In 2007, Chris was
awarded Higher Rights of Audience by the Law Society, in
recognition of his experience in this field. This enables him
to advocate in any court.
