Alexandra joined Blake Lapthorn in 2009 as head of our
Employment team in London. Alexandra specialises in all areas of
employment law, whether contentious or non-contentious. Alexandra
regularly advises on business restructuring, redundancy and
reorganisations and provides specialist advice on the Transfer of
Undertakings Regulations. She also deals with dispute resolution,
including Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination
on the grounds of race and sex and bonus claims (whether in the
Tribunal or the High Court) as well as all other employment related
disputes.
Alexandra has particular expertise in drafting and negotiating
restrictive covenants as well as taking all necessary steps to
enforce them and obtain injunctive relief in the High Court if
necessary. Alexandra also has a wealth of experience acting for
individuals who are faced with the threat of injunction.
Alexandra has particular expertise in a number of industry
sectors including retail, recruitment and publishing.
