Jill joined the firm in 1999 and leads our IP group and Trade
Mark Prosecution team, specialising in intellectual property and IT
disputes; and franchise disputes. Her experience includes contract
and commercial disputes, intellectual property disputes including
patent infringement, breach of copyright, design infringement,
trade mark and passing off matters both through the courts and
alternative dispute resolution. Jill also has experience of
international arbitration and cross-border enforcement of
intellectual property rights and domain name dispute resolution.
Jill also regularly deals with aviation disputes involving cross
jurisdicational issues.
In 2002, Jill was awarded an LLM in Advanced Litigation with
distinction, and in 2004, was awarded a Diploma in Legal Practice
Management with distinction. She is an associate member of ITMA and
INTA and founding committee member of the SCL IT Disputes
Group.
