Rachel joined the firm in 1995, and is head of our Private Client department.  Rachel deals with the drafting of Wills, tax planning, the administration of estates and applications through the Court of Protection, by whom Rachel has been appointed a Panel Deputy. She has particular expertise in advising parents who have children with learning difficulties in the planning of their affairs.

Rachel works closely with the firm’s Personal Injury team regarding the settlement of large awards into trust through the court of protection.  She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, of which she has been appointed chair of the Central Southern Branch.  She also works with various charities, and gives regular presentations and updates.
