Mary joined the firm in 1989. She has a very broad base of
corporate and commercial legal experience, although her work is now
focussed on commercial contracts and competition law. She
advises on, and prepares, a wide range of commercial contracts
(terms of sale and purchase, agency, distribution etc) for clients
in a wide range of sectors which includes marine, retail, and
aviation.
Mary has particular knowledge of the children’s day nursery
sector. Much of her work involves the preparation of standard
form documents, on which she also provides training to
clients. She also advises on the compliance with
competition law of commercial contracts and commercial activities,
prepares competition compliance policies, and advises clients
facing investigations by the competition authorities.
