Elizabeth is a partner with an established reputation as a charities specialist, and currently heads our Charities group. She advises not-for-profit organisations and charities on governance, trading, fundraising, corporate structures, mergers and partnering ventures.

Elizabeth is appointed to the Charity Commission's panel of Interim Managers and has held a number of other public appointments. She served for many years as a member of the Executive Committee of the Charity Law Association, and is Honorary Solicitor of the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust. Elizabeth is the author of the AVECO Essential Guide to Accountability, co-author of the new edition of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Charities Handbook and gives lectures on charity law. She is also the author of the first three chapters in the ICSA Charities Handbook which was published on 17 April 2012.
