John joined the firm in 1977, and now
focuses on commercial property work. He has particular
expertise in charity property, landlord & tenant issues, and
transactions involving land development, development agreements,
funding agreements, options, planning, and taxation. He also has
broad experience in commercial law, including employment, Freedom
of Information issues, mergers and acquisitions, as well as trust
law and taxation.
John is a former scientist, a graduate of
Oriel College, and has particular interest in the effective use of
IT in law firms.
Out of work, John’s interests include
bridge, music, chess and computing.
