Julian joined the firm in
1986. He is a civil litigator, handling a wide range of
private and commercial matters. He has particular
experience in the Chancery Courts. The main focus of his work is
contractual and building disputes, directors' and shareholder
disputes and professional negligence claims.
Julian has recently handled claims against local
authorities for contract breaches and judicial review
proceedings concerning the Supporting People scheme. He
recently obtained a successful settlement for a joint lottery
winner who was denied her interest by her partner, involving issues
of trust and estoppel. He has also acted recently for a
claimant in a professional negligence claim against a firm of
solicitors.
Julian is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers
Association.
