Adrian joined Blake Lapthorn's Restructuring and Insolvency group in 2009.  He has specialised in insolvency for almost 20 years, after qualifying with the City firm, Freshfields.  In this time, he has worked on a range of major insolvency assignments from a major restructuring project in the Far East to heading up the Treasury Solicitor's Companies and Regulation team, responsible for public interest winding up and directors' disqualification. 

Adrian passed the JIEB exams in 1996 and retains his insolvency practitioner licence.  He is a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and a member of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association.  Adrian lectures frequently and is a contributor to Tolley’s Insolvency Law and Lightman & Moss on the Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies, as well as other specialist publications.

Adrian has particular expertise in the banking sector and working with asset based lenders.
