John joined the firm in 1973 and is highly
experienced in property matters, particularly for the education and
charity sectors. He is a charity trustee and advises schools
in the state and independent sectors, as well as further and higher
education institutions on governance issues, fundraising appeals
and all aspects of property projects.
John also deals with charity property
transactions, charity formations, incorporations, reinstatement
following striking off and mergers, constitutional issues and the
winding up of charities. He has been appointed a
Receiver/Manager for Charities by the Charity Commission and is a
member of the CLA.
