Manoj is the head of the firm's Corporate department and divides
his time between the firm's Corporate centres on the South Coast,
Thames Valley and London. He specialises in a wide range of
corporate and commercial matters including mergers and
acquisitions, MBOs, reorganisations and restructuring, LLP and
partnership matters and general commercial arrangements. He is
recognised by clients for his commercial awareness and his
solution-driven approach together with an easy going manner.
Manoj qualified in 1998 and joined the firm in the following
year becoming a partner in 2006. He spent nine months on
secondment to the in-house team at one of the firm’s leading
clients, Whitbread plc, which gave him an excellent insight into
the commercial legal needs of major clients.
His recent experience includes advising:
- the shareholders of Icon Display (an international sports media
business) on their sale to Chime Communications plc
- David Lloyd Leisure on various key commercial arrangements and
joint ventures
- a major convenience store retailer on its acquisition
programme
- a private equity house in its investment into a substantial
healthcare business
- Orolia S.A. a defence sector company, on its acquisition of a
UK specialist engineering/manufacturing business.
