Simon specialises in advising entrepreneurial private clients on
all issues affecting them as founders and owners of large private
businesses. As the head of the firm's corporate department for the
last nine years, he has advised family companies and owners of
many of the leading private businesses and agricultural businesses
on the South Coast.
His practice involves all aspects of being an owner - financing,
family trusts, succession and tax issues, sale and purchase of
companies and businesses, company and partnership law and
management incentivisation.
His recent transactional experience includes:
- advising the founders of Auto Online on securing significant
strategic investment from Tesco and the launch of
TescoCars.com
- the formation of family investment companies
- the sale of substantial shareholdings in private
companies.
Simon qualified in 1986 and worked in London and Reading before
joining the firm.
