Jon re-joined the firm in 2006 after being the in-house legal counsel and head of licensing for the Laurel Pub Company Limited.  Prior to this, his expertise and reputation was established over seven years with our firm, specialising in licensing and making a name throughout the UK.

His experience also includes advising the Licensing Committee of Portsmouth City Council, while working for that local authority, and working for ten years in Magistrates Courts', which enabled him to advise and train Licensing Justices.

Jon has considerable experience of defending regulatory offences bought by the Police, Trading Standards and Environmental Health and advising businesses on regulatory compliance and due diligence.

Out of work, Jon enjoys music, football, golf and reading.
