This course was designed to assist your charity comply with best
practice to induct and refresh trustees, so that they can make a
full contribution as a trustee of your charity.
Trustees must know and understand:
- their role in your charity
- their legal and ethical responsibilities
- that they are accountable for their actions.
The Charity Commission for its part wants to know what efforts
charities have made to ensure that trustees are trained and
inducted to fulfil their role as trustee and expect details to be
included in the Annual Report.
This course was run on a rolling programme basis to enable you
to plan for trustee succession and include it in your annual
training programme, and comply with best practice and
reporting.
You will be advised of future times, dates and venues in good
time.
