sustainable supper
details
Blake Lapthorn have recognised for some time that,
despite supplying a constant flow of caffeine and some tasty bacon
rolls and pastries at its green breakfasts, early mornings are not
for everyone.
Blake Lapthorn is delighted to announce that, in addition to the
green breakfasts, we are now working in partnership with Landshare
and The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare on a series of
sustainable suppers to take place in Oxford throughout the
year.
The last supper took place at The Vaults and Gardens on Thursday
31 March at 7.30 pm and was preceded by a talk by the writer
and campaigner for Real Farming, Colin Tudge. Colin spoke to us
about how we might yet have ‘good food, for everyone, forever’, and
described how people at large can take this aim into their own
hands. Naturally we discussed this in good company, and with fine
food.
Details of the next supper will be available shortly.
