Jimmy specialises in technology,
Intellectual Property, Internet, outsourcing and corporate law.
He has worked for a wide range of clients
including major blue chip clients (eg BT plc), public sector and
government bodies (eg Amicus the Union), universities, high profile
and hi-tech companies, major users of IT and individuals.
He regularly has articles published in a wide
range of IP and Technology journals, magazines and newspapers. He
is a member of SCL, TIPLO, ITMA, iTechLaw and Intellect. He
lectures on technology law at the University of London, speaks at
conferences and seminars in the UK and abroad and appears on Law
Channel TV.
He has a Masters Degree in Electronic
Engineering (first class), Commendations in legal LPC & CPE
courses and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law
& Practice from the University of Bristol. Jimmy worked at
large city law firms prior to joining Blake Lapthorn as a partner
in 2004.
