rural professionals breakfast seminar: Crossing the line -
resolving boundary issues
details
Our Agricultural and Rural group's breakfast briefings returned
on 1 December with guest speaker, Amanda Morris, who is a partner
in Blake Lapthorn's property litigation team. Amanda
co-authored Neighbour Disputes: A Concise Guide to the Law and
Practice which is a practical guide to those seeking to resolve
disputes between neighbours who are at war with each other –
whether it be about boundaries, noise or some other irritant that
has sparked neighbour rage.
The event was chaired by
Mark Charter, head of Blake Lapthorn's Agricultural and
Rural group.
Amanda looked briefly at the issues affecting the rural land owner
including the problems encountered when dividing farms and estates
and other commonly encountered boundary matters such as rights of
way, hedges, ditches and trees
