important notice
Welcome to our last paper newsletter. In the interests of
reducing our carbon footprint we have decided to produce only an
electronic version of our newsletter. So, don't miss our
next issue, sign up to go electronic by
sending your email address to Kay Hogg (kay.hogg@bllaw.co.uk, or
call her to give your email address on T: 01865 258010).
In this edition we look at further developments brought about by
the implementation of the Charities Act and the Companies Act. It
is likely that this will dominate the charity sector agenda for
some time particularly with the impending introduction of the
Charitable Incorporated Organisation later on this year and the
further sector specific public benefit consultation.
For many HR professionals, managing employment issues can be an
expensive and time consuming process. We are organising a series of
free seminars in central London, aimed specifically at helping
charities deal with common employment issues.
I hope you find this last paper edition informative. Please
remember to continue receiving information from us let us know your
email address!
Best wishes
Elizabeth Davis,
Head of Charities group, Blake
Lapthorn
