• We provide advice to a number of housing associations providing residential care and sheltered housing on the requirements of the Care Standards Act, protection of vulnerable adults and related matters.

• We advise on the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act including providing guidance notes and specific training for staff on compliance and management in these fields.

• We have been instructed by Heartlands Housing in a dispute with a provider over Supporting People payments.  Legal proceedings were issued which ultimately resulted in our client recovering the monies due to it. As a result of our service in this matter, our client recommended us to another housing association for a similar matter which is currently ongoing.
