on the move...

Later this summer, Blake Lapthorn will be consolidating two of its south coast offices - Southampton and Fareham - into one new building.

The reason for the move is very simple - as the largest law firm in the region, we have outgrown our existing premises and feel that the move is essential if we are going to be able to continue to:

  • respond to the needs of our clients by providing better resourced teams to deal with their needs and expectations
  • improve significantly the facilities available for clients and staff alike
  • accommodate our future growth

The move will take place in two phases. The teams currently based in our Southampton office will be part of the first phase of the move which will take place at the end of June, with colleagues from the Fareham office joining them in September, by which time the new office, to be called 'New Kings Court', will be fully operational. The move will in no way affect the firm's business operations in its Portsmouth, Oxford, Winchester and London offices.

This is an exciting development for us; one that will strengthen our ability to offer you a high quality and innovative service, as well as providing us with a superb place to work. Your usual contact from the Construction group will be in touch in due course to confirm their contact details, but should you have any immediate questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We look forward to welcoming many of you to our new 'home' in Chandlers Ford very soon.
