Blake Lapthorn is delighted to welcome Chris Cousins, Local
Government Liaison Manager at BRE Global, to speak at a
breakfast seminar on Thursday 9 February 2012.
BRE Global is responsible for the operation of BREEAM (Building
Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), the most
widely used environmental assessment method for buildings in the
world; it also runs the Code for Sustainable Homes under contract
to the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Chris previously worked in Oxfordshire, including for many years as
first chief planning officer and then head of sustainable
development for Oxfordshire County Council. He has a degree in
geography from the University of Oxford and a diploma in town
planning from Oxford Brookes University.
The breakfast will start at 7.30 am for food and networking,
speakers at 8.00 am followed by a question and answer session,
concluding by 9.00 am.
