The Planning team’s construction experience ranges from:
- carrying out planning appraisals
- submitting planning applications and negotiating with local
authorities
- drafting of planning agreements with particular expertise in
Section 106, Section 278 & Section 38 agreements
- advising on requirements of building regulations
- dealing with enforcement issues relating to planning and
building regulations
- advocacy at planning inquiries and in the Magistrates'
Court
- Conducting High Court litigation (including judicial
review)
- all matters involving listed buildings
The team also deals with compulsory purchase procedure and
compensation.
The team acts for commercial developers (on all planning aspects
relating to acquiring and disposing of development land), land
owners, local authorities and third party objectors and have
experienced planning lawyers with in-depth working knowledge of the
planning system in England and Wales.
