We have a team of over 20 lawyers specialising
in residential development work split across our Southampton
and Oxford
offices. The Residential Development team has over 25 years
experience of acting exclusively for housebuilders and includes
lawyers who have worked in-house for housebuilders, construction
companies and in Local Authority Planning departments.
The team is supported by both in-house
planning
lawyers and chartered town planners. The team is also supported
by specialist construction lawyers who provide a wide range of
services from advice on bespoke and standard form industry
contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds,
guarantees and associated project documentation through to dealing
with and managing the resolution of contractual disputes. This
additional resource enables the team to provide a comprehensive and
seamless service for its housebuilder clients from initial site
appraisal, through the planning process and onto completion of
build.
