bingo law

Our experience includes obtaining operating licences and personal licences from the Gambling Commission and Premises Licences from Local Authorities.  We have drafted Social Responsibility and other policies illustrating how licensees will meet the Licensing Objectives and comply with Licensing Conditions and the Codes of Practice.  In addition, we have provided clients with training on the Conditions and Codes and the provisions and application of the Gambling Act 2005 and regulations made under it.

We have provided advice on the location and types of gaming machines, signage and all manner of other practical issues around the operation of bingo in the new regime.  Some of our clients are multi-site operations and we are aware of the need for consistency and easily understandable corporate policies.   Accordingly, we have provided training days and accompanying literature for managers and staff.

We have advised several online bingo sites and continue to take an interest in the development of remote bingo (Peter Wilson chaired a panel at the Online Bingo Summit in London in June 2008)
