Oliver acts for a number of public sector clients looking after their real estate interests. Whilst having a wide range of landlord and tenant experience, he has particular expertise in dealing with all aspects of development work including options, overage and planning promotion agreements. He has assisted clients with transactions relating to brownfield development and contaminated land. In acting for local authorities he has gained considerable experience in dealing with disposals of land to Housing Associations and ensuring that the interests of the local authority are protected whilst complying with the relevant legislation.
