Mediation is increasing in popularity as a cost-effective means
of resolving disputes. Apart from the obvious costs advantages, it
can save time and help preserve relationships between authorities
and their public.
Through our mediation provider organisation, BL Resolve, Blake
Lapthorn provides experienced mediators for all forms of civil,
commercial, community and family dispute. Our mediators regularly
mediate in all manner of disputes involving local and highway
authorities and other public bodies. BL Resolve has provided
experienced mediators and been involved in most forms of
alternative dispute resolution over many years.

sits on the Law Society's ADR committee.
BL Resolve is accredited
by the Civil Mediation Council as a mediator provider to the Court
Service through the National Mediation Helpline. Our mediators work
all over the UK and abroad.
Blake Lapthorn can also provide lawyers experienced in mediation
to advise during the mediation process. We can represent parties
participating in a mediation or be available at the end of a
'helpline' to offer ad hoc advice during the process whenever any
legal issues arise.
Our construction mediators are also available to sit on dispute
