advice for authors

Today, partly as a result of the growth of the Internet, authors face an increasingly wide range of issues, when they seek to exploit their works, yet also protect their IPR and reputations.

We can help authors and advise them how best to exploit their works. We negotiate author contracts and licence agreements with publishers and advise on the sale of author rights to publishers. We can also help authors protect their copyright and moral rights, as well their reputations when they are libelled, or their works are plagiarised or infringed.

In addition, our large Private Client Services group provides a wide range of services for authors and their families, including providing advice on Wills and tax planning.
