Before joining Blake Lapthorn, Peter worked for Freshfields, Clifford Chance and held the position of corporate counsel with ITT Corp, in London, Hong Kong and Paris. He led Blake Lapthorn's rail privatisation work for British Rail and now leads the firm's Rail group. He has substantial rail experience, in the full range of franchising, regulatory, competition, procurement and commercial matters for heavy and light rail, including advising British Rail on aspects of the Channel Tunnel project and high speed trains procurement and SWT, Cross Country and Thameslink on track access. He also specialises in construction, engineering and infrastructure projects, PFI and PPP.
