workshops

Blake Lapthorn hosted and sponsored a series of Recruitment and
Employment Confederation half-day workshops on the implementation
of the Agency Workers Regulations. These took place in our offices
in Oxford on the afternoon of
Tuesday 14 June and Southampton on the afternoon
of Tuesday 21 June.
There is one remaining workshop being held in London on the morning and
afternoon of Tuesday 12 July. Bridget Wood, partner and head of our
Recruitment sector group will be presenting at all workshops.
The workshops provide participants with a detailed understanding
of what the new Regulations will mean in practice and how agencies
can start preparing for the changes. With employer awareness of the
Regulations continuing to increase, one of the priorities is to
ensure that agencies can respond to queries from current and
prospective clients.
