We set out below some of the transactions the Banking team have undertaken in the past year.

• Acted for Bank of Scotland on the £85 million facility to Chemring Group, including acquisition finance facilities to finance the purchase of Troon Investments Limited, and Ayrshire based manufacturer and supplier of pyrotechnic and propellant devices.
• Acted for Royal Bank of Scotland (Reading) on multi facility financing of £4.2 million acquisition of PSS Holdings Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of storage systems by Hi-Lo Storage limited.  This transaction involved a Romanian subsidiary from whom security was sought. 
• Acted for Royal Bank of Scotland on second tranche funding to Laurel Management Services Limited for further acquisitions.
• Acted for corporate client on £9 million refinancing and extension of acquisition finance facilities.
• Acted on the acquisition and financing of 3 MD-83 Aircraft.
• Advised on finance leasing arrangements for SWT’s new rail ticket vending and ticket information systems and integrated voice data network.
• Advised SWT on the implementation of the procurement and leasing arrangements for 458 fleets of rolling stock, including acceptance and bonding arrangements with the manufacturers Alstom.
• Ongoing advice to Porterbrook Leasing Company Limited on rolling stock leasing arrangements.
