Our Business Regulatory team has carried out the following
training and provided advice under the Bribery Act 2010:
- DHL (October 2010-February 2011)
Classroom based training sessions provided to over 200 of DHL's
most Senior Directors and Managers. Nine sessions with a
presentation, interactive quiz, case studies and discussion on
specific business-related scenarios
- reviewing a corporate client's
e-learning training package on the Bribery Act (December 2010)
- in-house training provided to DAS
Legal Expenses Insurer December 2010
- joint training with CBI South and
Thames Valley Regions (April 2011) – seminar attended by 40
delegates across a variety of businesses, highlighting the
implications of the Act.
- Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce
April 2011 – seminar to 50 delegates from businesses operating
within the Thames Valley
- training to Business Southampton (May
2011) – seminar to 40 delegates from a wide cross section of
business in the Solent business area
- Stadium Experience (May 2011) –
training to 23 Corporate Entertainment Managers from both the
Premier League and NPOWER Championship Football Clubs
- reviewing risk assessments prepared
by corporate clients
- drafting anti-corruption
policies.
Forthcoming activities in which we have been involved
include:
- preparing and chairing a full day's
seminar covering The Bribery Act, Whistleblowing, Financial
Auditing, breach of Competition Law, an In-House view of the
Bribery Act (September 2011)
- participating in a BBC London
Documentary on corporate entertainment and the Bribery Act (date
tba)
