substantiating claims of carbon neutrality in world class
events
Craig Simmons, Best Foot
Forward joins us to discuss this topical issue.
Craig is a co-founder of Best Foot Forward and
has advised numerous national and international environmental
bodies including the United Nations Environment Programme, the
World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the Global
Footprint Network, the World Resources Institute, the Carbon Trust,
the European Environment Agency, and the European Commission
Environment Directorate-General.
Any claims of carbon neutrality for such high
profile events need to be stand up to international scrutiny and so
Craig is going to explore how BFF go about assessing the carbon
neutrality of a world class event and compliance with recognised
standards including the new PAS 2060 Standard.
