On Tuesday 16 October we were joined by Professor
Robert Nicholls from the University of
Southampton. Robert is Professor of Coastal
Engineering, Deputy Head of School (Research) and Co-Director of
the University-wide Centre for Coastal Processes, Engineering and
Management. His main technical areas of interest
are long-term coastal engineering and management, especially the
issues of coastal impacts and adaptation to climate change, with an
emphasis on sea-level rise.
