South Coast green breakfast - Southampton - 16 October 2012 - flooding and sea level rise in the Solent

On Tuesday 16 October we were joined by Professor Robert Nicholls from the University of Southampton.  Robert is Professor of Coastal Engineering, Deputy Head of School (Research) and Co-Director of the University-wide Centre for Coastal Processes, Engineering and Management.  His main technical areas of interest are long-term coastal engineering and management, especially the issues of coastal impacts and adaptation to climate change, with an emphasis on sea-level rise.
