There are no specific registration, filing or regulatory
requirements for the formation of a partnership. Also partners do
not have to have a formal agreement - a partnership can be formed
just by working together.
The Partnership Act 1890 does apply, eg the sharing of profits
and losses equally between the partners, regardless of the
amount invested by each partner and sharing responsibility for
debts and obligations.
It is advisable in a commercial setting for a partnership
agreement to be set up.
