advising recruitment company Imprint plc
on:
- its admission to AIM at an initial market capitalisation of £14
million (now £105 million)
- two subsequent acquisitions of specialist financial
services recruitment businesses, with a total value of £38 million,
part-funded by further institutional share placings on AIM to raise
£28 million
advising marine engineering business Hamworthy
plc on:
- its admission to AIM at an initial market capitalisation of £40
million (now £175 million)
- a share placing on AIM to raise £18 million for general working
capital purposes
advising department store operator Beale plc on
£7 million of store acquisitions from Fenwick plc
and the obtaining by it of shareholder consent for the deal
advising local ferry operator The Portsmouth Harbour
Ferry Company plc on the £11 million hostile takeover bid
made for it by Falkland Islands Holdings plc
