Barrister

"...praised for his ability to 'demystify employment law' and 'find the right solutions'."  (Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession 2013)

"Tim Forer is singled out for his adept handling of contentious respondent work." (Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession 2011)

Tim Forer joined Blake Lapthorn in May 2011. Tim is highly experienced in all aspects of employment law. He has specialised in advocacy since his earlier career with the Royal Navy, as an officer and a barrister where he regularly appeared in Courts Martial, and more recently in private practice where he represents clients at employment tribunals, including the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Whilst he specialises in contentious matters, Tim also provides practical, commercial advice to organisations, drawing on his management background.

Tim is a member of the Employment Law Bar Association. He regularly speaks on employment law and related matters at seminars and workshops. He is also chairman of the governors of a major local independent school.

Tim is also listed as a leading individual both by Chambers, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession 2013 and Legal 500 2012.
