Our Agriculture and Rural group produces a food law bulletin to keep you a breast of changes in the law that may affect your business.

• new pork labelling scheme
  A new voluntary Code of Practice for the labelling of pork and pork products was introduced at the end of February.
• responding to food incidents
  The Food Standards Agency has recently updated its guidance documents on how to respond to food incidents.
• display of prices
  The legislation governing the display of prices of food and drink sold in pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways has recently changed.
• cross compliance
  Under the 'cross-compliance' scheme, farmers will be required to comply with a set of statutory management requirements to qualify for full single payment and other direct payments.
