This Points Based System tier has two sub-categories.
youth mobility
- This is a replacement for the Working Holidaymaker visa and is
open to nationals of Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco and New
Zealand. Applicants must be aged 18-31 and can work in the UK
for two years.
- A maintenance requirement needs to be met, but not English
language.
temporary workers
- There is provision to come to work on a short-term basis as
sportspeople, entertainers or creative artists, religious workers,
government exchange programme participants, or those working
pursuant to international agreements, or charity workers.
The Tier 5 application process will be determined by the working
permission that is issued.
