Theo Anderton joins Blake Lapthorn's Insolvency and Business
Recovery (IBRT)

Blake Lapthorn's Insolvency and Business Recovery team (IBRT)
has been further strengthened by the appointment of Theo Anderton, a
senior solicitor, based at the firm’s office in London.
He specialises in contentious insolvency work and technical
insolvency advice but also has experience in non-contentious
matters. He advises on both corporate and personal insolvency
matters. Theo acts primarily for insolvency practitioners,
directors and creditors. His work includes technical advice to
insolvency practitioners, asset recovery actions, misfeasance and
wrongful trading claims, interviews and private examinations,
applications for possession and sale, injunctions, applications to
annul/rescind and applications relating to the decisions of
office-holders and/or for directions in respect of the
administration of the insolvent estate.
Prior to joining the firm, Theo spent time at Greenwoods
solicitors where he was head of the Commercial Dispute Resolution
department and Collyer Bristow in London as an associate in their
Insolvency department. Theo passed his Joint Insolvency Examination
Board (JIEB) exams in 2003 and is a member of the Association of
Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
