planning

Variations to the premises licence may also require a variation
to the planning permission governing the outlet. We can advise
clients on the need for such applications and the timing of them in
conjunction with licensing applications; whether that is to extend
the hours or extend the premises.
Premises will have an enforced smoking ban in 2007. Solutions
found to allow customers to smoke “outside” may well require
planning applications to be made for “structures” erected or where
current operable hours of the patio/garden area are limited in some
way. We can advise on the issues and any effect on your premises
licence.
