The Pensions team at Blake Lapthorn facilitated
a networking event for pension advisers based in the South. The
forum is aimed at giving pension advisers an opportunity to share
views, discuss current topics and consulting issues and hear from
some industry 'insiders'. The first Forum was held on Monday 7
November 2011 at 4.30 pm at our New Kings Court offices in Chandler's Ford
where we heard from John Quinlivan of Aegon and Alex
McGill, a Pensions consultant of Blake Lapthorn.
They gave an inside track on the new consultancy charging
requirements.
The teams intention is for the forum to become a regular event,
probably every six months. The team would welcome any
suggestions as to topics of interest for future forums.
The forum is followed by drinks and nibbles to get to know one
another better, finishing at around 6.00 pm.
