High Court challenges

Where an appellant or third party objector is aggrieved by the
decision of the Secretary of State, we advise on whether there is a
right of challenge, and can assist in the conduct of any
proceedings. Equally, where a party is aggrieved by the
decision of a local authority, we advise on rights of challenge to
the High Court, or a potential complaint to the Local Government
Ombudsman. In particular the team can advise on:
- the merits of challenging a decision
- s288 and s289 appeals against Inspectors’ decisions
- judicial review proceedings
- complaints to the Ombudsman
