Blake Lapthorn is regularly instructed to act as Privy Council Agents in appeals before the Judicial Committee of Her Majesty's Privy Council.

The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council is the court of final appeal for the UK overseas territories and Crown dependencies, and for those Commonwealth countries that have retained the appeal to Her Majesty in Council or, in the case of Republics, to the Judicial Committee. It also has other domestic jurisdiction within the United Kingdom, hearing appeals from medical and veterinary disciplinary bodies and in certain ecclesiastical cases.

Our Privy Council team acts in civil and criminal appeals, representing both appellants and respondents. Our clients include companies, banks, trusts and individuals. We are members of the Judicial Committee Users' Group.
