Amanda is a partner in our Litigation and Dispute
Resolution department, specialising in real estate dispute
resolution. She holds a Diploma in Advanced Litigation from the
Nottingham Law School and is a member of the Property Litigation
Association. She practices all forms of property litigation, but
particularly in the field of landlord and tenant, including
possession actions, contested lease renewals and dilapidations
claims. She specialises in advising landlords on remedies available
in the cases of tenant insolvency. Amanda acts for local and
national property developers, retailers, housing associations,
public and private companies and letting agents, as well as private
individuals. She is recommended as a leader in the field of Real
Estate litigation in the 2007 edition of Chambers UK: A
Client's Guide to the Legal Profession. She is co-author,
along with Donald Agnew, of Neighbour Disputes: a concise guide
to the law and practice published by Callow Publishing in January
2006. Amanda qualified at Sussex firm Thomas Eggar in 1994 and
joined Blake Lapthorn in 1997, becoming a
partner in 1999.
