Sue specialises in cerebral palsy cases and runs our cerebral
palsy helpline. She joined Blake Lapthorn in September 2002
from Pictons Solicitors, where she was head of the Civil Litigation
department. Prior to this Sue worked in hospitals as a medical
scientist for eight years equipping her with skills to deal with
and interpret medical records. She has a particular interest in
acting for children.
Sue is a member of various specialist panels including Action
for Victims of Medical Accidents and the Law Society's Clinical
Negligence and Personal Injury panels. She also sits on two
Legal Services Commission review panels which review decisions by
the legal aid board and has a background as a trained CAB adviser.
Her commitment is to practical as well as legal help and
assistance. Sue is also an accredited mediator.
