Court of Protection

The Court of Protection oversees the management of substantial awards of compensation for those claimants who do not, by reason of their injuries, have the ability to manage their own money.

Alison McClure is a panel receiver for the Court of Protection for head injury victims for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.  

Alison and her team have skill both in financial management and also a deep understanding of the issues, which an injured person and their family and carers can face after the settlement of a compensation award.

We can advise in conjunction with the Court of Protection on how the money is best invested to meet your ongoing needs as well as helping with the practical day-to-day issues of managing your money.

As the Court of Protection team work so closely with our Clinical Negligence team, we are also able to pull in the expertise of case managers, occupational therapists and others to advise you on an ongoing care regime and appropriate support.
