Karen read law and German law at Kingston University gaining a
2.1 (Hons) in Law with German Law. As part of her studies she spent
a year reading German law at Mannheim University. She speaks German
and is able to assist other teams in the firm translating legal
documents when required.
Karen qualified in 2007 and joined our Family team in Oxford in April
2008. She was promoted to Associate in November 2012 and now works
in our London office. Prior to her qualification Karen
spent a number of years working in London in both the legal and
commercial sectors gaining valuable experience . She represents
clients all over the UK, in Europe and Australia/America.
Karen specialises in family law. She has a keen interest in financial
proceedings arising from relationship breakdown and enjoys
negotiating complex financial claims. She frequently represents
clients in the RAF and NHS dealing with cases involving substantial
pension assets. She advises and represents clients in all aspects
of divorce and financial matters. She often assists clients in
children act proceedings and has a keen
