Blake Lapthorn is pleased to announce the launch of its Private
Client Services Group (PCSG), as of Thursday 1 May 2008.
Operating out of its Winchester office, one of
four offices from which the services are delivered, the launch of
the firm's PCSG demonstrates Blake Lapthorn's continued commitment
to the region and ensures that it is better able to meet the needs
of its clients and professional contacts. The newly launched
Group will enable the firm to respond to the needs and expectations
of its clients by providing better resourced teams, and will also
help to accommodate its future growth.
Offering the full range of legal services to
clients in Winchester and across the UK, the firm's PCSG comprises
the following teams:
- Successions and Tax
- French Private Assets and Tax
- Residential Property
- Family
- Agricultural and Equine
- PI - Clinical Negligence and Travel
- Motoring Offences
- Contentious Probate
These combined teams form approximately 25% of
Blake Lapthorn's fees and bringing them together enables the firm
to provide its clients with a much wider pool of legal
expertise.
The Winchester office of Blake Lapthorn can trace its roots
back to the 18th Century and it is known that the practice was in
existence in 1733. Since then, there have been a number of mergers
and acquisitions involving some of the best known legal families in
the area being the Whites, the Faithfulls and the Bowkers.
Blake Lapthorn has now become the largest firm in the region.
Comments Rachel Brooks, head of Blake
Lapthorn's Private Client Services group: "This is an exciting
development for our Winchester office and also the firm in general,
which will strengthen our ability to offer a high quality service
to our clients. The new group will enable us to market more
cohesively to existing/prospective clients and I believe will also
form an integral part in our future growth.”
