food poisoning outbreak at the Halici Holiday
Village, Turkey
Blake Lapthorn's specialist Travel team
has been instructed by
several individuals who became ill whilst staying at the Halici
Holiday Village, Marmaris,
Turkey during September 2010. Guests have
complained of sickness and diarrhoea as a result of contracting
the illness.
Some guests were hospitalised due
to the severity of their symptoms including sickness, vomiting, dehydration and
loss of consciousness.
Dan Oldroyd,
Travel expert at Blake
Lapthorn, "
Guests have complained
of the poor quality of the food forcing them to eat elsewhere after
falling ill. It is not what you would expect booking an all
inclusive four-star hotel. Our clients booked the holiday for
the convenience of having the food and drink included,
but their holiday was spoilt and extra expense incurred due to the
illness."
Our
Travel team's experience on
food poisoning law and our foreign language abilities, together
with our network of overseas agents, significantly improve the
chance of success for such claims for compensation.
