If you fail to stop when required by a constable, you could receive the following penalty:

  • maximum fine for mechanically propelled vehicle: 100% of weekly take home pay up to £5,000
  • maximum fine for cycles: 100% of weekly take home pay up to £5,000 up to £1,000

This offence does not carry penalty points.
